When will Pakistan team get Indian visas?

[ad_1]

The Pakistan team is expected to receive their Indian visas today, enabling their participation in the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, set to kick off in India on October 5.

The process involves the Indian Embassy in Pakistan acquiring the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Indian Interior Ministry, which will pave the way for the issuance of visas to the Pakistani players.

Pakistan team is now slated to depart for Hyderabad, India, via Dubai on the morning of Wednesday.

The first World Cup warm-up match for Pakistan is scheduled against New Zealand on Friday, September 29.

This development follows a proactive move by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), which promptly informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) about the visa-related concerns, in accordance with their prior agreement to ensure the timely procurement of visas.

As a consequence of visa delays, Pakistan had to abandon their intended trip to Dubai. The original plan was for the team to embark on their journey to Dubai early this week, spending a couple of days there before proceeding to Hyderabad.
