It seems like Jessica Biel’s patience with Justin Timberlake’s behaviour is wearing thin.
Timberlake was arrested for driving while intoxicated in Sag Harbor, New York, after struggling to stay in his lane and failing to stop at a stop sign.
This incident comes after previous public scrutiny in 2019 when Timberlake was seen getting close to actress Alisha Wainwright.
“He begged Jessica for a second chance and she gave it to him,” a source exclusively told In Touch. “But five years later, he still can’t seem to control himself when he’s partying. She can’t take much more of this behaviour.”
The Troll’s star addressed the incident with Alisha in an Instagram post in 2019, writing: “I stay away from gossip as much as I can. But for my family, I feel it is important to address recent rumours that are hurting the people I love.
“A few weeks ago I displayed a strong lapse in judgement (sic) – but let me be clear – nothing happened between me and my costar. I drank way too much that night and regret my behaviour. I should have known better.”
“This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
After a highly publicised incident, Biel and Timberlake expanded their family with the arrival of their second son in July 2020.
Biel attended Timberlake’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York City on Tuesday, June 25, just days after his arrest.
For those unversed, on June 17, the Mirrors crooner was taken into custody for DWI in Sag Harbour, New York. After going to the American Hotel for supper with companions, he was stopped.
The lawsuit claims that the Selfish singer could not “keep on the right side of the roadway” while driving and ran a stop sign.
